FOUNDED IN 1938

The Connecticut Bus Association (CBA) is an organization of transit, intrastate and interstate motor bus companies that operate vehicles in Connecticut. Our members include the major motor bus companies in the state, as well as a number of affiliated vendor companies that are interested in networking with their customers.

THE FOLLOWING BENEFITS ARE PROVIDED TO OUR MEMBERS

  • Monthly dinner meetings to provide members with an opportunity to meet and speak with key decision-makers in the transportation and tour industry; as well as update them on state and federal matters

  • Legislative lobbying on state issues by CBA’s lobbyists in Hartford to promote beneficial interests of the association, as well as defeat legislation that would be harmful to the industry

  • Working with state agencies, such as Department of Motor Vehicles, Department of Transportation and the Department of Revenue Services, to resolve issues and foster a better working environment with the CBA and its membership

  • Inviting guest speakers to address the membership on timely topics of interest

  • Providing affiliate vendor companies with a forum to market their products to the membership

  • Providing member companies with an opportunity to discuss common interests of concern

There is a dues structure for the various types of membership, and all members are invited to attend for monthly meetings. There are also two major social events each year: a golf outing in September and a holiday party in December. Check out our Events Page for additional events throughout the year.
